Biography:

' My journey with pottery began as a youth working with beach clay and bonfires on the shores of lake Winnipeg. My high school years were spent in the art room up to my elbows in clay. Pursuing my dream to Victoria I attended various workshops at Pearson College, in the USA and in Canada. Following a one-year apprenticeship I opened Victoria Clayworks in 1983.

' Over the years I have participated in many juried, group, gallery and one man shows. In 1995 I opened my current showroom and studio in Naramata, BC. Meeting visitors from across Canada, the USA and the world who have given my work a home is a both a great honor and source of inspiration.

I love to work in a variety of firing techniques including Saggarware, raku, medium and high temperature stoneware. My quest is for creative freedom and the pursuit of balance between colour texture and form.
